If we want to become a much healthier, secure, and environmentally conscious society, we must invest in the development of young people now.
But it is no longer enough to set young people up for academic achievement and financial stability — we need to equip young people with emotional intelligence, social skills, and the resilience to navigate life’s challenges.
At a time when being a young person is more complex than ever before, children and young people need a holistic approach to their development — one that nurtures their emotional wellbeing and ability to build positive relationships with themselves and others.
As an education consultant with over 20 years of experience working with families, schools, and communities, I am passionate about helping young people achieve their potential holistically. I collaborate with schools, training colleges, universities, youth-focused organisations and sponsors to create opportunities that allow young people learn and experience personal growth.
Comprehensive guidance to schools, sixth forms, training colleges, pupil referral units (PRU) and community organisations on building education programmes that address the full spectrum of student development.
Interactive workshops for young people, getting them to reflect on themselves, develop positive self-talk skills and discover their resilience to navigate life.
Deliver inspiring and informative talks on topics such as resilience, emotional intelligence, the teenage brain and holistic education, tailored to your audience’s needs and the theme of your event.
I work with educators and social care professionals to implement strategies that promote the essential life skills young people need to succeed, including:
By supporting the whole child, we prepare young people not just for academic success but for life.
Are you ready to invest in young people? Let's talk about how we can work together.
Adam was having problems at home and at school and had been involved in anti-social behaviour. He had never been involved in social and community-based activities. But Adam wanted guidance and to make a change in his life. He also wanted to be a better role model to his younger brother.
We invited Adam to a local boxing club. Alongside learning to box, we ran wellbeing coaching sessions and got Adam to complete journalling and mindset activities. The theme was ‘Being Curious’.
The sessions helped Adam to develop his self-confidence, resilience, teamwork skills and mental health. He found a physical outlet through sport and learned to reflect and use mindfulness to become more self-aware. The combination meant he could manage family stress and communicate with his family better. He became more helpful towards his family and also began volunteering, getting his brother involved in volunteer work too!
